November 20th - Baby Shower in Seymour.  What a blessing it was!  It was a wonderful time to go back to my hometown.  Thanks to all the ladies who hosted and all the gifts.  I will post pictures soon...

Since November we were searching for a 3 bedroom house to move into...After much searching, we found a place in Watauga, TX.

December 11th - Mom and cousin Bri visited and helped us pack everything up in our apartment.  Then with the AWESOME help of Philip & Jillian, Michael Smith, and the Bluhm family, we moved into our house on December 18th.  My mom then stayed a week and helped us unpack and make it home...we made curtains...finished the baby room...put together all the baby gadgets and got settled in.

December 24th  - Christmas Eve we spent at our place with my parents, Aunt Rebecca & Ron, and Jared's parents.  We enjoyed some good Mexican food, went to the Christmas Eve service at our church (Northwood in Keller), and then went back to our place to play dominos and later some cards.

39 weeks
Christmas day was spent with  Jared's parents who stayed in town through Tuesday.  It was great getting to see them.  Spent time visiting and playing cards & other games.  I know they were hoping Jocelyn would come while they were here, but I guess she has a mind of her own ;)

The Nursery...

Well, today is New Year's Eve and I am 40 weeks 2 days pregnant.  wow!  It is hard to believe that the day has finally come when Jocelyn could arrive at anytime.  My midwife says the first is typically about a week 'late' from the due date..  I am trying to keep my mind off it and stay busy with things around the house, and enjoying time with my wonderful husband :)  I know all too soon we'll have a little girl who will keep our life full.  So the next time I post will be pictures of her arrival.  Can't wait to share them!

Love,

Sarah

34 weeks!

November 14, 2010 (photo taken by Kathy Owen)
This past weekend Jared & I flew out to Atlanta, GA for a business trip for our Amway business.  The trees were GORGEOUS and the weather wonderful!  We had a great time with our friends and enjoyed our last trip away together before Jocelyn enters our world in about 6 weeks!

32 weeks...Maternity shots

A girl in my yoga class - Mae Burke, offered a special mini-shoot to the ladies in our class this past weekend....so I thought why not, I'll go for it.  I think she did a wonderful job and the photos turned out great.  My next goal is to get some photos with Jared in them too...I'll do that this next week...I want Jocelyn to have pics of both her mom & dad before she was born :)  Well, we are about 7 1/2 weeks from the due date now...It is coming up fast!

Lots going on with us between work, birthing classes, preparation for the baby, and making a decision on where we want to move and when.  Our current lease is up on December 31st so not much time to decide.  We're praying God directs us to the place He wants us to be.  The months ahead will definitely prove to be adventuresome!

Love to all~

31 1/2 weeks!

Here we are at 31 1/2 weeks (almost 8 months pregnant!).  We were on our way out the door to a FC Dallas game (Major League Soccer game) on Saturday when Jared took this picture.  By the way..my first 'real' soccer game as Jared says.  We had a great time.  Neither one of us are pros at the camera though, so disregard the bad lighting...and I couldn't get the picture to go right side up...so for now (until I can figure it out), you have to look at it this way :)

Surprise shower!

Last week at work, the office threw a surprise baby shower for us!  How they pulled it off...I have no idea.  However, it was a great surprise to me and very special.  We received lots of goodies for little Jocelyn, and Jared even dropped by for a little bit.  I don't think our girl is going to lack for anything...

Jocelyn is going to love to read!

Of Course...she will be Daddy's Princess :)  I can already see it.

Jocelyn Paige Hilton - 28 1/2 weeks!

Jared and I have decided on a name for our little girl - Jocelyn Paige.  I love the name and we also love the meaning which is 'happy' and/or 'joyful.'  Jocelyn will have lots of true joy in her life, which we know comes only from the Lord.

Here is a picture at 28 1/2 weeks pregnant.  I have continued to feel great...although my appetite has grown...lol...and it has become more difficult to get comfortable at night.  Nothing to complain about though.

I can't say 'thanks' enough to Jared for being such an amazing husband during this entire pregnancy so far.  He has been so patient and loving.  I couldn't ask for a better man!

Blessings & love,

Sarah

27 Weeks!

27 weeks

It is hard to believe that I am starting my 3rd trimester!  I feel great, and I'm getting more and more excited about the day we get to meet our little girl.  She has been kicking a lot, especially in the afternoons when I'm at work and then late at night.  I will do my best in the coming weeks to post a picture every week in order to keep the family happy!  :)

Blessings and love~

24 weeks...

Today was my monthly appointment and everything is on track and looking good :)  I am 24 weeks pregnant with our little girl, and she is definitely kicking a lot more (all the time!).  Jared has not felt her yet, but I look forward to him feeling her very soon.  It is humbling and exciting to think that a life is growing inside of me for us to bring into this world and raise.  Thank you Lord for giving us this privilege!

24 weeks!

This last weekend we visited my parents and grandparents in Vera and had a great time 'in the country.  I received the gift in the picture below from my grandmother - Momajo.  I thought it was so sweet and wanted to share it with you.  It will definitely be going in the baby room.

"Every good and perfect gift is from above" - James 1:17

OH and I have picked out material for the baby room!  Aunt Brenda will be making all the bedding, curtains, etc., as a gift from my mom's family.  I can't wait to see how it all comes together.

Time to go to bed :)
